Why It's Important We Reflect On Our Childhood When Raising Children

We don't come to our parenting journey unblemished. Often, the parenting decisions we make are based as much on a reaction to our past experiences as they are to the needs of our child. In fact, our own childhood needs can sometimes act as a filter to the needs of our actual child! This will be a very brief run through of a dense and sometimes difficult topic - how do we begin reflecting and moving on from our own childhood experiences when we have our own children.

It will cover:

- Why becoming a parent can raise so much from our early years

- An introduction to some key concepts to understand why we repeat patterns

- How to separate what belongs to us from what belongs to our children

It includes 15 mins of Q&A from the live workshop at the end, as well as notes for you to keep and an exercise for reflection.
